BSR is delighted to announce that Trish Cornell has been elected by the membership to be our next Vice-President Health Professionals. Trish will officially take up post following the AGM being held on 29 June 2026. She will take over from Will Gregory, who we are thrilled is staying on the Board of Trustees for a further 3 years as an elected member trustee.
Trish is a consultant rheumatology nurse in Dorset with managerial experience in the NHS, Royal Navy and pharmaceutical industry. Trish has been active across BSR committees, education programme, and annual conference and we are really looking forward to working closely with her to continue active engagement across all of our health professional members.
BSR did not receive any nominations for the role of BSR President during the 2025 election round. In line with our succession policy, the Board of Trustees has asked Dr Jo Ledingham to extend her current tenure for 12 months. We are incredibly pleased that Jo has accepted and that we can enjoy another year of her leadership. Jo will demit in June 2027.
